Anyway you slice it, the Watermelon Festival serves up a ton of fun August 13 & 14 in Lake View Terrace at the new location of the Hansen Dam Soccer Park Complex. All day fun includes free watermelon, delicious foods, carnival rides and attractions, games, contests, entertainment, a Kids Zone, and more.

2016 Toyota's New Generation Prius

The new Prius’ EPA 54/50/52 mpg city/highway/combined is brilliant. The car stays in full-electric driving more often and more easily than the last model while gas pedal usage is the same. And when the engine does need to turn on, it isn’t as noisy. The whole car is quieter than before, though road and tire noise is irrefutably present. You can be sure to make someone's day brighter and you will feel good, for having helped…

We are asking for your help.

Tierra Del Sol Art Show and Reception

I was excited to be one of the attendees that came out last Saturday, August 29th for Tierra Del Sol's Wall Unveiling Reception and Sunland Studio Arts Show: 'Summer Long'.
546 × 410

We were treated to a beautiful spread of hors d'oeuvres, punch, wine, Champagne and some live music from a three-piece combo, that was perfect for the occasion.
After the reception and unveiling we went to view the art exhibit, outside in the beautiful grounds.
